CallGonz is more than a consultancy—it’s a cultural bridge with intention.

Most companies arrive in Costa Rica with a business plan but no culture plan—CallGonz was born to change that. We build the missing piece: strategies that align people across cultures, creating trust—not tension—and driving lasting growth.

Our intention is to humanize business through cultural understanding, amplify belonging, and turn investment into integration—not displacement.

In places where gentrification is reshaping lives, we help both sides navigate with respect, minimize harm, and co-create long-term value that puts people—not just properties—first.

Hi, I’m Gonz.

Every great partnership starts with trust. I’m not just here to consult—I’m here to connect, to listen, and to build something real with you.

I was born and raised in Costa Rica, professionally shaped by a global journey that took me from San José to leadership rooms across India, China, Canada, Malaysia, and the U.S. I’ve spent 21+ years growing and leading teams across HP, Intel, IBM, Lionbridge, and SweetRush—each experience deepening one core truth: culture is the foundation of trust, loyalty, and long-term success.

As a neurodivergent, Latin, and queer professional, I know both what it feels like to belong—and what it feels like to be overlooked. That’s why I created CallGonz—to help businesses and communities thrive together, not apart. To ensure growth is rooted in respect.

Now based in Potrero, Guanacaste, I help businesses turn cultural friction into meaningful connection—before misunderstandings become missed opportunities.

My values:
Caring | Commitment | Culture | Belonging | Business Alignment | Cultural Accountability

How do we start?

We don’t offer one-size-fits-all. We begin by listening. Understanding your unique story is the foundation for everything that follows.

First step

Initial Cultural Consultation

Here’s what we ask from you:

  • 60–90 minutes with you and your key leaders.

  • Honest insight into the cultural or team challenges you're facing.

  • Openness to sharing the context, the tensions, and the aspirations.

  • A one-time flat fee (depending on company size).

You’ll receive

A clear, strategic snapshot of where you stand—and where you could go.

This includes:

  • A written Cultural Risk Map and Value Alignment Assessment.

  • A summary of observed gaps, friction points, and areas of strength.

  • A recommended Culture Alignment Pathway, custom-built for you.

  • Honest, non-judgmental insights you can act on—whether you work with us further or not.
